Post Sales Calls (CSR Menu)
 
Purpose: Post sales calls to Ship-To accounts and set next call date. You can also maintain and update the Ship-To accounts Profile.
 
Maintenance: Day-to-Day posting process.
 
Access Menu:  (start form Main Menu Screen)
  • File

  • CSR Menu

  • Option S. Post Sales Calls

Search Button: The search button will return one of two things.
 
One:
  • Display a List of records for you to choose from starting with the best match.

  • Note: Press ESC key to quit.

 
Two:
  • Account Number match
  • Select the Ship-To account to post to.
Note: Only if more than One ship-to account exist.
 
Posting Sales Calls

Sales Call TAB Section
 
Note: Changes made will be updated back to this ship-to account.
 
Ship To:
  • Company name.
  • Address line 1
  • Address line 2
  • City , State and Zip
Notes:
  • Ship-To notes
Last Call Date, recorded last call date.
 
Sales Call Transaction...
 
  • Post Date, post date for this posting. (default is today's date)
  • Salesman, salesman code that called on this account. (default is blank)
  • Note: after 1st time in, the defaults are last entry for both items above.
  • Call Increment, default from ship-to account (in weeks)
  • Note: determines Next Call Date.
  • Next Call Date, defaults from call increment and post date.
Sales Call Profile Headers...
You can setup up to 10 custom headers for each of the three groups..
 
 
General Functions:
  • Check what applies for this sales call transaction. (headers are custom)
  • Note: this is printed on Sales Call Profile Sheets.
Product Purchase:
  • Check what applies for this sales call transaction. (headers are custom)
Programs:
  • Check what applies for this sales call transaction. (headers are custom)
Notes:
  • Each group is printed on Sales Call Profile Sheets.

Command Buttons
Post, select this to post this transaction.
Quit, select this to Quit without posting any changes made while in this session.
Note: you must be on this Sales Call Tab before these buttons are activated.
 

Profile TAB Section
 
Note: this is basically a file maintenance session of this Ship-To account. Similar to the customer file maintenance process.
 
Owner, store owners name.
Manager, store managers name.
Framer, store framers name.
Other, other name. (user defined)
 
Salesman, salesman code for this account. (can be different than the one on General TAB)
Class, (user defined) (this is not the same as the General TAB Class field)
Phone One, store main phone number.
Cell Phone, store cell phone number.
Fax Number, store fax number.
 
Route 1-5, delivery route. (use during order entry to set delivery)
 
Email, store main email address.
Web Site, store website URL.

UPS Zone, select the UPS Zone for this Ship-To. (use to calculate shipping charges)

ShipVIA, select a default Ship-Via for this account. (use during order entry)
 
Business Type, these types are user defined.
 
Business Hours, store hours.
Notes, sales call notes.
HotNotes, this is displayed during order entry on the main header screen.

Notes TAB Section
 
Notes, notes for this sales call posting, recorded with history.

History TAB Section
 
Sales call transaction history for this Ship-To account.
Double Click the post date to view notes for that sales call.
Note: each group header is color coded.
  • General Functions is Black
  • Product Purchase is Blue
  • Programs is Red
