| Clear
Network Flags |
| Because ProFrame is a
multi-user program, (network compatible) the system will need to lock
records and files during operation. This is to keep two or more users from
being able to EDIT records or files at the same time. Locks are referred
to as "Network Flags". During normal operations these "Network Flags" are
maintained by the system, BUT sometimes a computer may shut down without
warning or needs be re-booted for what ever reason.. In this case, if
ProFrame was running at the time of the re-boot, that computer has most
likely left "Network Flags" locked. This option allows you to clear them.
Warning.. make sure no other users are working in ProFrame if you
select Clear All Flags. It's okay to run options Clear Passwords
and Clear Customers with others working in ProFrame. |

| Modify
Report Forms |
| The most
common reason to modify a report form is to associate it to your printer
so it will take on the printer properties. All reports in ProFrame are designed and developed on a HP Laserjet 1200 Series laser printer.
They will work on most laser and inkjet printers, but for some they do
not. This is especially true when trying to display a report. This also
allows you to customize any report forms and especially the Work Order,
Invoice and Statement forms. |
| Notes: |
-
If you do not see
this option on the EasyBee Software Application Menu, then run Setup and
be sure to turn that option on.
- If on a Network, all users should log off of ProFrame,
failure to do this could cause errors.
- On some computers it is necessary to Exit and Re-Start EasyMenu before selecting Modify Report,
this insures that all Report Designer options are made available.
- This is a Destructive program and should only be
available to experienced FoxPro Users.
- When in doubt, "Save As" to a
unique name before making changes so you can recover the original form.

To ADD Fields to A Report:
Before you can add new fields to any report form you must know
what file is used to produce this report. On the EasyBee Software
Installation CD you can find a MS 2000 Excel spreadsheet called x:\EasyBee\Doc\ProFrame.xls that contains the major file structures and
the field names used in this system. Use this to determine what file this
would be and what fields are available for this report. Because this is a
runtime version of this report writer it has limited functions, but most
can be overcome by using the Copy/Paste function to copy one field to
another and then modify the copy to change the field name. |
| |
To Move Fields Around:
Click and Drag any field where you need it. |
| |
To Delete a
Field:
Click that field to highlight it and select the Edit/Delete pull
down or press the Delete key on your keyboard. |
| |
To Save Changes
Select File/Save pull down to save changes. |
