| Purpose: Setup and maintain
the System Quantity Break Discounts File. |
| |
| Maintenance: Very little
maintenance required once it's setup for the 1st time. |
| |
| General
Reference: The Qty Type Discounts File is the (Global quantity
break discounts) file. It controls the quantity break type discounting for
Moulding, Mats, Glass and Foamboard products. You're able to setup a item
Type during inventory file maintenance for each item, to assign it to a
Qty Type Discount or choose to leave it un-assigned. When these type items
are sold, ProFrame can calculate accumulative quantities and apply
quantity break discounts for that order. Based on what's setup in this
file. |

Example Moulding Chops: |
 |
|
This works the same as Mats but it deals
with Chops on Moulding products. Each Moulding type is separated within
it's sub type. Chops, Length etc... |
|
This example would give an 5%
discount on 10 or more chops, 6% on 25 or more chops. etc... |
|
|
Note:
remember this is accumulative quantities per order. |
|
Note:
such discounts are printed on invoices as discount line items. The
line item number is MISCDISC3 and description "Discount, Moulding
Chops" if from sample above. |
